Morning brief
Morning brief is one page for the owner, read before crews roll. It reads the forms, sign-ins and incidents already in Panora.
Request a demoWhat needs you, at the top
The top line says how many things need you before crews roll, and names the most urgent. Under it, each item says what is wrong and who acts, by role. When nothing needs you, the page says so.
Five groups, four plain words
The numbers sit in five groups: crews and jobs, trucks and equipment, safety, hours, and paperwork. The status words are fixed: Needs you, Check, On track and Not recorded. Some numbers are for information and never change color. Many numbers also say how they compare with the working day before.
A counted number opens its records
Tap a counted number to see the records behind it. The list and the number come from one calculation, so the count matches. A number that is a share shows the records counted and the ones not counted. Each record opens on the page that already holds it.
Not recorded is never zero
When a number cannot be worked out, it reads Not recorded and gives the reason. It does not put a zero in its place. If your account has no form that a number needs, the number says so.
Each number explains itself
The info mark on a number says what it is, how it is worked out, its time window and its sources. It also says what is left out and when the number changes color. A definitions page sets out all 23 numbers in the same words.
Your records, on your own clock
The brief reads records and never changes one. Today and yesterday follow your company's time zone, and working days run Monday to Saturday. The page shows the time it was worked out.
What Morning brief is not
It is a page you open, and it sends nothing on its own. It does not judge a truck or a report against any rule. It never rates a person, and near misses are never shown by crew or by person.
- Where do the numbers come from?
- From records already in Panora: the forms crews file, crew sign-ins, the incident log and follow-ups. Each number names its own sources.
- What if we do not use a form it reads?
- That number reads Not recorded and says why. It is not shown as zero or as on track.
- Who can open it?
- Admins and safety managers. A viewer who opens it is taken to the dashboard.
- Does it send anything on its own?
- No. Morning brief is a page you open in Panora, and nothing is sent from it automatically.
