Incident reports
Incident reports is your company's incident log. Each report records the type, the severity, where and when it happened, and photos.
Request a demoFour types, four severities
Each report is an Injury, a Near Miss, a Good Catch or a Safety Event. Severity is Low, Medium, High or Critical, and a report needs both a type and a severity. The form asks for the site, date, time, location, the employee involved and what happened. The reporting person starts filled in with the name of whoever is filing.
Photos kept with the report
Attach up to 8 photos or PDF files to a report, each up to 25 MB. More photos can be added to a filed report from the log. Photo files open for signed-in users of your company, and a removed photo does not open at all. An admin can remove a photo from view, and the file is kept with a record of who removed it.
The log at a glance
Tiles count the reports filed this year, the high or critical ones and the total on record. Each type has its own count for the year. On a phone the log is a list of cards, and on a wider screen it is a table.
Recordable is a person's call
Panora does not work out recordability for you. With Project dashboards on, a report can name its job, and a recordable one restarts that job's hours-since-last-recordable counter.
What Incident reports is not
Filing a report does not send an alert. The type, severity and account of what happened are not edited or deleted after filing. It does not fill in government forms for you.
- Who can file a report?
- Admins and safety managers. Viewers can read the log but cannot file.
- What files can be attached?
- PDF, PNG and JPEG files, up to 8 per report and 25 MB each. A file that is turned away is skipped, and the report still saves.
- Can a photo be deleted?
- An admin can remove a photo from view. The file itself is kept, along with who removed it.
