Hazard zones and JHA
Hazard zones and JHA ties a job hazard analysis to a place on your site. A worker's phone checks where they are and opens the JHA for that zone.
Request a demoZones with their hazards
Each zone is a point on a site with a radius, 150 meters unless set otherwise. Each zone carries a JHA: a list of hazards, each with its control. The Hazard zones page lists every zone with its site, radius, description and JHA. Zones are set up for each site during onboarding.
On the worker's phone
Workers open the site's field link on a phone, with no account. The phone takes one location reading, and the worker can try again from a button. Inside a zone, that zone's JHA opens and asks them to complete it before starting work. Outside every zone the phone reads You are clear, and without a location the worker picks the zone.
Signing the JHA
The worker types their name, can add notes, ticks the acknowledgment and signs. The server works out inside or outside from the coordinates and stores the distance. A sign-off with no location is recorded as unverified. Each sign-off is written to the activity log that admins read.
Where the link lives
Admins find each site's field link on the Sites page. One network can send 30 sign-offs every 10 minutes, which stops a flood of fake ones.
What Hazard zones and JHA is not
Zones are not drawn or edited in the app. It does not track people or alert them in the background as they walk into a zone. The name is typed, not a drawn signature. There is no sign-off list or report, and sign-offs appear in the activity log.
