Emergency muster
Emergency muster is how Panora runs an evacuation or a drill. You start the event, people are accounted for at the muster point, and the report is kept when it ends.
Request a demoStart an event in seconds
An admin or safety manager picks the event type, the site, a muster point and an instruction. A blank instruction is filled in with set wording for that event type. A real event needs a press and hold of a second and a half, and a drill is one tap. The site's roster goes on the board, narrowed by shift if you choose, plus visitors still signed in at the lobby kiosk.
Accounted for at the muster point
The muster-point tablet switches from standby to the roster by itself when an event starts. A tap marks someone accounted for or flags that they need help. Someone who is not on the list can be added and counted at the tablet. The tablet also shows the site's emergency numbers, and a chemical safety panel when a chemical is named.
A live board for the people in charge
The board shows tiles for Safe, Needs help, Not on site, No contact and Refused evacuation. A red strip lists anyone who needs help now. The roster is grouped by muster point, with an activity feed beside it. The board updates live, and a wall display button puts it full screen.
Push alerts for your team
Signed-in users who turn on alerts get a push notification when an event starts. They get another when the after-action report is ready. During an event, every other screen in Panora shows a bar back to the live board.
The after-action report
The report records when the event started and was resolved, the instruction, the muster point, the commander and who started and ended it. Tiles show who was targeted, accounted for and unaccounted, with the average response and the time to full accountability. A timeline and a record for each person show their status and how they were marked. Print it or save it as a PDF from the browser.
Drills that stay separate
Drills are recorded and reported apart from real events. The Drills item in the menu lists them on their own.
What Emergency muster is not
It is not a module you can switch off, and it stays on for every account. The tablet is never sent anyone's phone number. Viewers can watch the board, but the Resolve and override controls are hidden from them.
- Do workers need Panora on their phones?
- No. A person at the muster point accounts for people on the tablet.
- How is the tablet set up?
- An admin turns it on for a site and gets a six-character code. The code is typed once per device and remembered for 180 days.
- How do we practice?
- Run a drill. It takes one tap to start, and it is kept apart from real events.
- Who gets push notifications?
- Signed-in users who turned on alerts from the Panora menu. On an iPhone, alerts work once Panora is added to the Home Screen.
