Daily crew sign-in and hours

Daily crew sign-in puts the gate sheet on each crew member's phone. The office reads the day's sheet for every job, and the hours that fall out of it.

Crew hours for one day: five sample crew signed on with no sign-out, each reading Not recorded, no sign-out, a note that those shifts are not counted, and an Export CSV button.

Signing on at the gate

Crews open the job's page on their own phones, with no app login. They type the job's code once, and that phone stays set up for 30 days. Sign-on asks for a full name, and a company for anyone who is not staff. Signing on twice in a day adds no second line.

A job's sign-on sheet on a phone: 5 people have signed on today, nobody has signed off, fields for name and company, and a Sign on for today button.

Signing off

Signing off has its own box lower on the same page. A sign-off after midnight closes the shift from the day before, and the crew member is told. A sign-off with no sign-on is still recorded, and the person is told to tell their supervisor. The phone shows how many people have signed on, never their names.

The office sheet

The crew sign-in page shows each job's sheet for a day: name, company, time and where. Each name is checked against the roster and marked on this crew, on the roster, or not matched. Location shows as a distance from the site, never as a pin on a map. Each job links to a QR poster, and the poster does not print the code.

Hours that fall out of it

Hours are sign-off minus sign-on, per person, per job, per day. A missing tap is never filled in, and every total shows the shifts it left out. A shift over 16 hours is flagged for a check and still counted. The CSV export leaves hours blank, not zero, when a tap is missing.

Corrections on the record

An admin or safety manager can correct a wrong sign-off with a written reason of at least 10 characters. The original tap stays on show beside the correction, and the change goes in the activity log. A shift that was never signed off cannot be given hours.

What Daily crew sign-in is not

A job's sheet and its code are set up by Panora, not from a screen in the app. Location is one reading per tap, not tracking and not proof of where anyone stood. Crews do not see their own hours.

Who can see names and hours?
Admins and safety managers. A viewer is sent to the dashboard, and the export turns them away.
What if someone forgets to sign off?
That shift reads Not recorded, no sign-out. It is listed, and no hours are guessed for it.
Does sign-on need a location?
No. The phone asks once, waits up to 2.5 seconds, and signs on without a location if it has none.
